Interrail American Style - Day 4

We arrived in Seattle sometime before noon and got to our hostel. It was located in Fremont, a cool and young part of the city. The hostel is probably the best we have ever been to. It is called Hotel Hotel Hostel, a weird name that would never attract me in the first place (Martin booked it :P), but it ended up being the best. The staff is really great, there is a common room, a kitchen (can leave food in their fridge with name on), included breakfast, super awesome room… really nothing here that is not great. And cheap too. After putting away our luggage we went and had sushi in a sushi bar, something I had never done before.  After finding out what to do in the city with great help from one of the staff members at our hostel, we took the bus to downtown Seattle. We went to Pike Place Market, a famous place to go for tourists. We soon learned that it always rains in Seattle – all the postcards had rain on them.

After walking around a long time in that neighborhood we ended up going back to Fremont where we looked briefly at the area and then went for dinner at a Indian restaurant. The food was great, especially the lamb. After that we went to a really cool bar for drinks and they had card games in old food cans. Then we went back to the hostel to drink from our own wine and eat cheese…yum!
